• We represent both fiction (chiefly mystery/thriller, literary, mainstream) and nonfiction (American history and biography, military, popular culture, sports, health, and general narrative nonfiction).

• We don't represent screenplays, plays, poetry, religious books, children's or middle grade books.

• Due to the high volume of submissions, we're only able to respond to the projects we pursue, which is generally within thirty days.

• We accept both email and snail mail submissions (see contact information).

• Please do not include any attachments to emails unless we request it.

• For fiction, include in the body of your email a short description of your novel, the first 30-50 pages, and a brief synopsis (not a teaser -- the full plot, from beginning to end).

• For nonfiction, include in the body of your email a description of your book and any relevant bio information/publishing history. A finished proposal is not necessary at this stage.
